Sidoarjo Regency and Milkfish
With the support of the strategic location of the
geographical conditions, making milk fish and shrimp a leading commodity in
this area. Sidoarjo is not kidding making these two things as icons. This is
evident in the economic growth driven one of them from the fisheries sector
with the sale of processed milkfish and shrimp into the leading and distinctive
investment sector in Sidoarjo.
Milkfish
Products in Sidoarjo Regency
Sidoarjo people do not waste their potential. They
are well aware that it is unfortunate if the potential is not utilized
properly. They also realize that if producers do not create innovative
processed products, of course, tourists will get bored with these
In the end, various processed milkfish and shrimp
products were created. Such as prawn crackers, presto milkfish, shrimp paste,
smoked milkfish, and others. The special characteristic of milkfish in Sidoarjo
is that it does not smell mud and tastes delicious. And some of the products
presented are different in other areas, such as petis. With a very favorable
geographical area, they are helped to support their livelihoods.
Many Tourists
Are Interested in Milkfish Products in Sidoarjo Regency
The tourists are spoiled by lined up souvenir shops
that sell these processed foods and are in the Sidoarjo City area, which
certainly helps make it easier for tourists to find and buy souvenirs from
Sidoarjo. The processed products that are produced are not only innovative but
also taste as good as other products that make consumers buy once, will feel
"collect" with the different sensations they feel. Souvenir products
that they will not find in other cities
Therefore,
for many years the city has maintained the quality of taste from the processed
products that they have created so that consumers will continue to consume and
love processed products in their regions. Which certainly helps the economy of
Sidoarjo improve and also reduce other problems, such as unemployment.

TANGGULANGIN
BAG INDUSTRY SIDOARJO
Sidoarjo, has the icon of leather bag products, and currently
the people of Indonesia, especially Sidoarjo, do not need to go far to other
countries to get a bag with good quality. The name of this leather processing center
is Keden Village. In the East Java administration map, the village is included
in the Tanggulangin District area.
Therefore, tourists are more familiar with the name
Tanggulangin village. The location is right on the edge of the Lapindo
embankment. When Tempo visited Tanggulangin, Saturday morning, January 20,
2018, it was seen that almost all the houses in the village produced bags,
wallets and belts.
According to Chairul Anam, one of the craftsmen, who also
serves as the Head of Permata Convection Management, the quality of goods here
may be competed on the international market. "The material is made of
quality cow and sheep leather. Some are first class, some are second
class," he said when met at Tanggulangin village. The skins were imported
from Magetan and Surabaya. Aside from ingredients, the skill of the maker to
process leather products is no doubt. Of course this is also an important
factor that makes bags, wallets, and belts have quality worthy of fighting.
The craftsmen have
been trained since childhood. Their knowledge is inherited knowledge from
parents, who previously also became skin crafters. Generally, these products
are sent directly abroad, such as Brunei Darussalam or Malaysia. Or also
deposited to large stores located in the village. Can also be deposited in
village cooperatives. The name of the cooperative is INTAKO.
At INTAKO or home-grown storage stores, these processed
leather products are sold at varying prices. For wallets, for example, prices
start at Rp 135-400 thousand. While the bag is valued at Rp 250 thousand to Rp
1.6 million. While the belt ranges from Rp 160 thousand. Meanwhile, defective
products, but still suitable for use, are sold in their respective homes.
Usually local tourists chase these reject items. The price is much cheaper. Can
be up to half. For wallets, for example, special reject items are sold at a
price range of Rp. 60 thousand.

Lapindo mud
Do you know about the lapindo mud? The 2006 inflation rate was recorded at 0.62 percent.
He said the rupiah would continue to strengthen to rp9,300 per dollar in the days ahead.
He said the rupiah was expected to strengthen to below rp9,300 per dollar, he said.
Reportedly, to this day many social issues remain unresolved well. Ranging from the
breakdown in nature, environment and social, to the compensation that remains a mystery.
The explosion of hot mud from drilling activity by the lapindo brantas activity is predicted to
be caused by early drilling errors. As long as they avoid drilling holes, it is considered that
drilling activities are still in progress. And so during drilling, there's extra pressure.
Underground blowout resulted in no less than 25,000 displaced and more than 10,426 houses
and 77 units of worship soaked in mud.
In the aapg 2008 international conference and exhibition held in Cape Town international
conference center, South Africa in 2008, attended by geologists around the world, creating
expert opinion, 3 experts from Indonesia predicted earthquake l 2006 the cause. But 42 other
experts claimed drilling as a cause, 13 others said a combination of earthquakes and drilling
as a cause, and 16 experts said they have never been able to get an opinion.
The eruption of gas and mud that reached deep to 16 villages and 3 sub-district has been
more than 10 years, but there is still a series of unresolved problems, both for compensation
and for land degradation. This resulted in basins in certain areas and stagnant water.
But aside from the downside of the rising hot mud, there's a fraction of the value to be taken.
Muddy eruptions are believed to contain large minerals like lithium in abundance, which can
be used as battery raw materials.
Also, there is an ilodium content that makes the LCD, which can cost more than oil and gas.
Additionally, they can make light bricks, ceramics, and pottery.
More than that, the lake that was formed by these mudflows has now become one of the
compulsory tourist attractions for visits on our way to sidoarjo.

Virus corona di sidoarjo
Id.m.wikipedia.org Coronavirus or coronavirus is a virus from the Coronaviridae family
that can cause disease in birds and mammals. The body structure of the virus consists of
membranes, lipid bilayers, glycoprotein-like nails, positive RNA genomes, and nucleocapsid
proteins.
KOMPAS.com - Currently, the attention of doctors related to the spread of the corona virus
is focused on respiratory samples from pneumonia cases. However, there is one thing that
might be ignored and might be the source of its spread, namely diarrhea.
Citing Bloomberg, a coronavirus novel was detected in feces from the first case in the United
States. The findings were less highlighted compared to reports from Wuhan, China, which is
said to be the center of the spread of the virus.
However, this discovery does not surprise scientists who have studied the corona virus or
doctors who are familiar with the disease that causes SARS.
Diarrhea occurs in 10 to 20 percent of patients who suffer from SARS about 17 years ago and
is the source of an SARS outbreak in the Amoy Gardens housing complex, Hong Kong.
SuaraJatim.id - Female Workers (TKW) from Hong Kong who are being treated at the
Sidoarjo District Hospital because of suspected suspect Corona Virus is still undergoing
treatment. Today, the patient's condition is reportedly getting better.
Managing Director of Sidoarjo Hospital Atok Irawan said, a 21-year-old woman from Central
Lombok who is now undergoing treatment has improved in the past three days.
"His condition is good, his body temperature is at 36.6 degrees. Patients are no longer coughing
and eating is also awake," said Atok when contacted by contributors Suara.com, Thursday
(01/30/2020).
The patient, said Atok, was able to communicate with the family even through video calls.
"He had a chance to communicate with his family through the video call," he added.
Regarding indications of the Corona Virus, Atok said if the results of chest X-ray by the patient
did not show any signs that he had contracted the virus.
"From the clinical results and chest X-ray, the patient is not affected by Corona Virus.
However, the patient is still in the isolation room to this day," he said.
Although declared not infected with Corona Virus, the patient is still in the isolation room.
This was done after the procedures and provisions of the hospital.
In addition, the hospital continued Atok, still requires laboratory results from the infectious
disease laboratory in Jakarta. These results will come out within one week.
"We are still waiting for the results of the swab lab from Jakarta. Approximately next week
the results will come out," he explained.
Previously, Sidoarjo District Hospital received patients from one PJTKI from Pasuruan. The
female worker (TKW) from Hong Kong was brought to Sidoarjo District Hospital because her
body temperature was very high.

Field:
Field:
The MTSB field is
very suitable for ceremonial activities, sports, etc., but because there is
still a wall in the renovation field it becomes increasingly tight. there is
already time to commute hours around will be jammed depending on the number of
cars / motorbikes pick up so much I can conclude the parking lot is requested
to increase so that traffic does not occur.
Many
considerations from students of MTSB because the field is not extensive, this
is caused by the addition / construction of new buildings for the following
year. New buildings will be built in the renovation of a sports field. students
can be a bit more free to exercise / do school activities.
Renovation development
Currently the MTSB building is being renovated again. This renovation is done to build hall, sports field
and also a class. As you know that MTSB has alot of students. So from that every newMTSB student
admission will always do a renovation and the construction of a new building to adequately students in
teaching and learning activities.MTSB facilities are very complete and comfortable.Every class in MTSB
is always facilitated by 1 smart TV and also ac.It is as you know that MTSB is the first school in East Java
to use
smart tv as a teaching and learning activity

EDUCATION CORNER
Ø Finland
As we know that one of the best
education in this world is Finland. Finland's education system is considered as
one of the best education systems in the world. Education in this country
routinely outperforms the United States in literacy in reading, science, and
mathematics. Finland always ranks best in the three-year international student
assessment (PISA) survey conducted since 2000. Finland ranks 13th in the PISA
math score, reading literacy 4th, and 5th in science. In fact, schools in
Finland have shorter school days compared to schools in other countries and
they do not do standard tests or tests.
Reporting from the Big Think report
published by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Finnish education system can
function well because its structure is supported by several key principles:
First and foremost equal access to education and students are given the freedom
to choose their educational paths based on interests and talents. Early
childhood education. Early Finnish education is designed around the concept of
learning through games. Finnish children are not required to go to school until
the age of 6 when pre-primary education or PAUD begins.
Parents are free to spend the early
years to play, teach, and bond with children. If parents want to start
children's education early, the Finnish system offers an extensive early
childhood education and care (ECEC) program as well. The program adopts a
"learning through game" model to promote "balanced
growth,". There will be a fee, but parents will get a subsidy for the cost
of PAUD education. Parents make only about 14 percent of the total education
costs. The amount will be adjusted based on income and number of children.
This guide covers what tests should be
given, how to evaluate student progress and needs, and even the ability to set
daily and weekly schedules. Teaching is a highly respected and professional
field in Finland. Most elementary school teachers hold master's degrees. Eighty
percent of elementary school teachers also participate in continuing
professional development. This level of learning and continuous development
ensures Finnish educators explore the science of teaching.
Ø China
Education in China is controlled by the
government. In China, the content standards, facilities and infrastructure
standards, management standards have been determined by the state and then the
school only has to manage the process standards, the competency assessment
standards for its graduates. Concepts like
this cause schools to only focus on school activities without the need to think
about other matters that are quite time-consuming such as infrastructure and
financial facilities like in Indonesia.
The difference with national-level state schools in Indonesia in
improving their quality is using eight education standards namely content
standards, process standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, educator
and education staff standards, financing standards, management standards,
assessment standards, graduate competency standards.
China's basic education consists of 3
years of PAUD, 6 years of basic education, 3 years of junior secondary
education, 3 years of senior secondary education. College level 2-3 years of higher education,
4 years technical vocational higher education, 4 years undergraduate education,
2-3 years master degree education, 3 years doctor education
The purpose of China's national
education is to prepare students to develop themselves in the dimensions of
moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic in accordance with their fields of
work in order to become socialist workers who have idealism, are educated and
cultured, have strong character and discipline.
Under the supervision of the State Council, the ministry of education is
responsible for all planning and general policy makers on education, where the
administration of basic education is decentralized to provincial and city /
district / village governments.
Administration and supervision of higher education at national and provincial
levels.
Ø Malaysia
From the results of my discussion with
several internet users from Malaysia in their online discussion forums, there
is some information that I can compare with our education system. For example, in the subject of languages, in
our country only Indonesian is constantly emphasized and taught to our
students. Indeed in some private
schools, besides Indonesian, Arabic is also included in the curriculum,
especially Islamic schools and Islamic boarding schools. In public schools, Foreign Language Lessons
such as English are only a priority when they are at the Junior High School
level and so on, while the Elementary School level has not.
Malaysia applies English language
learning standards to students from the Pre-School level or in our system is
called Early Childhood Education (PAUD).
Although there are some PAUD who now teach English, but when they go to
Elementary School (SD) they are not required to study English because it does
not include the elementary curriculum.
After advancing to the next level, junior high school, the English
curriculum is then included. In a way,
when elementary students will forget their "science" of English.
While in Malaysia, their Foreign
Language skills are increased in number as their school levels also
increase. At Primary School or elementary
level, Foreign Language lessons are supplemented by Chinese and Indian
languages. In 2003, the Malaysian
government again improved their Foreign Language learning process by making the
curriculum in Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry with the teaching and
learning process must use English. Said
a few online forum discussion friends from Malaysia, the regulation had drawn
criticism because it was considered as a form of discrimination against students
who were fluent in English with those who were not. Almost the same as elementary school level in
our schools, Malaysia also applies a system similar to our 6th grade system,
according to their age from 7 to 12 years.
Ø Indonesia
1.
CURRICULUM
One important component of the education
system is the curriculum, because the curriculum is an educational component,
both by the manager and organizer, especially by teachers and principals. The curriculum is made by the central
government, therefore every education unit is required to implement and
implement it in accordance with the implementation instructions and technical
guidelines prepared by the central government. Basically the curriculum is a
set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content and learning
materials as well as the methods used as a guideline for organizing learning
activities to achieve certain educational goals that have a function as a guide
in the implementation of educational activities in schools for the parties concerned,
both directly or indirectly, such as the
teacher, school principal, supervisor, parents, community and the students
themselves.
The 2013 curriculum is a curriculum
that was recently coined by the Ministry of Education to replace the Education
Unit Level Curriculum. 2013 curriculum
is a curriculum that prioritizes understanding, skills and character education,
students are required to understand more in material matters, are active in
discussions and presentations and have high discipline manners. This 2013 curriculum replaces the Education
Unit Level Curriculum which has been implemented since 2006. The theme of
renewal and improvement in the 2013 curriculum is to create Indonesian people
who are able to think creatively, productively, innovatively, proactively, and
affectively, through the development of attitudes, skills and knowledge. This
integration is an effort to improve Indonesia's ranking.
2.
FACILITY
We know that education in Indonesia
itself is very minimal, especially in terms of facilities and infrastructure,
such as the fact that educational facilities in schools are damaged in various
parts of Indonesia and many are concerned, especially in remote areas. In this case the teaching and learning
facilities are really far from inappropriate learning. Like inadequate
facilities, such as leaky classrooms, damaged or inadequate school benches, likewise
also about the lack of unprofessional teaching staff. When school facilities
and infrastructure are inadequate, it will result in the problem of lack of
education, due to the limitations of school facilities and inadequate learning
at this time.
If we see from the notion of education
is a conscious effort which carried out
and arranged systematically to achieve a goal. Certainly if education is
arranged in a systematic and good planing of course in accordance with the
objectives to be achieved. But in managing education and educational
infrastructure there are deficiencies in management namely the lack of
infrastructure facilities needed by students in learning process and learning. The reality in
remote areas is inadequate regarding educational infrastructure, including its
own human resources so that triggers the development of education, in this case
many problems arise about the lack of facilities and infrastructure as well as
minimal facilities, namely in the main problems in every school education in
Indonesia, especially in regions in
remote areas from urban areas. in this case it will cause a lack of quality
disparities in education. so many students who are in remote areas like
education in villages cannot enjoy the comfort and completeness of such
facilities as students in the city.
Therefore, the government needs to
provide assistance to these remote areas so that education can develop and
achieve these educational goals. And the lack of funding allocation is
hampered, namely in the case of a lot of misuse of school administration funds
and the existence of irresponsible persons in terms of funding so misuse of funds and hinder the process of
education. in this case the government is less assertive in dealing with
persons who misuse funds.

Latest
News
Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem
Makariem clarified a number of reports that said he was planning to delete the
National Examination (UN) in 2021. He emphasized that the more appropriate word
was not to abolish the National Examination, but instead to replace the
National Exam with a new assessment system. "Some things so that there is
no misperception, the UN is not abolished. Sorry, the word deleted is only
headlines in the media to be clicked on, because that is the most salable.
Thus, the UN was replaced as an assessment of competence," Nadiem said in
a joint meeting of the House of Representatives Commission X in the DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (12/12/2019).
In addition to the competency
assessment, the UN will also be replaced by a character survey. According to
Nadiem, the two assessments were a simplification of the UN. He also emphasized
once again that the right language was not to remove the UN, but rather to
replace the UN system. "What is deleted is the format as it is now. What
is deleted is the format per subject following the completion of the syllabus
rather than the curriculum," he explained. "Replaced, but with a
minimum competency assessment, which is almost like something like PISA, namely
literacy, numeracy, plus there is a character survey," continued Nadiem. Regarding
the minimum competency assessment and character survey, Nadiem has explained it
in a working meeting with the House of Representatives Commission X.
There are three reasons the UN needs to
be replaced by both of the assessment patterns. UN is considered too focused on
the ability to memorize and burden students, parents, and teachers. Also read:
Substitute for UN Assesses Literacy and Numeration Ability, What Is It? In
addition, the national examination is also considered not to touch students'
cognitive and character development abilities. "To assess the cognitive
aspects were not yet stable. Because it was not cognitive that was tested, but
aspects of memory. Memory and cognitive are two different things," Nadiem
said at the DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (12/12/2019). "It does not
even touch the character, values of the child that I said, even as important
or more important than cognitive abilities," he continued.
Another information is Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) Nadiem
Makarim will overhaul a number of policies at the university. One of them is reducing the undergraduate
study obligation (S1) in study programs or majors to 5 years. The rest, Universities are required to give
the right for students to voluntarily (can be taken or not) take the semester
credit system (SKS) outside the college as much as 2 semesters (equivalent to
40 SKS). In addition, students may take
credits in different study programs at the same university for one semester
(equivalent to 20 credits). The provisions
will be contained in the Merdeka Belajar policy package: Merdeka Campus which
was announced today, Friday (1/24/2020).
However, said Nadiem, the policy "does not apply to Health study
programs." In his presentation on
the main points of the policy, Nadiem explained that the definition of SKS
would also be changed from "learning hours" to "hours of
activity". "All this time, SKS
is limited to the definition of face-to-face learning in the classroom. In
fact, the learning process of students is not limited to activities in the
classroom," he said.
In addition, according to Nadiem, the
weight of SKS for learning activities outside the classroom is very small and
unfair for students who have sacrificed a lot of time. As a result, student exchanges or work
practices in many cases actually delay student graduation. With the change in definition, the number of
SKS required by students has not changed, but only the learning activities and
course choices are different in the last three semesters.
